The price of domestic gas prices will remain unchanged for the next two months, despite the requests made by the two gas companies Minister of Trade and Consumer Affairs Bandula Gunawardena said. The distributors were seeking an increase in the price from tonight, Minister said.
 The price of domestic gas prices will remain unchanged for the next two months, despite the requests made by the two gas companies Minister of Trade and Consumer Affairs Bandula Gunawardena said. The distributors were seeking an increase in the price from tonight, Minister said. Speaking at a Media Briefing this afternoon in Colombo the Minister said both Shell and Laugfs had requested for a price hike however Government has agreed to remove the tax component on gas, to avert a price hike. The prices remain as earlier with Shell gas at Rs.1550 a cylinder and Laugfs at Rs.1421 a cylinder. |
